Deloris M. Brown

Deloris M. Brown 85, Wausau died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Wausau Manor. She was born August 30, 1927 in Wausau, daughter of the late Anton and Leona (Salzman) Slagoski. On October 25, 1947 she married Clarence Brown in Wausau. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1987. Deloris was a housekeeper for various families in Wausau for many years and also worked in several factories throughout Wausau. Some of her favorite pastimes included needle point, doing yard work and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Deloris was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include her two daughters, Bonnie (Dale) Rupnick, Wisconsin Rapids and Christine (Ronald) Roloff, Wausau, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Deloris is further survived by her siblings, Alvera Rowe, Wausau, Jeanette Jirgl, Mosinee, Tom (Sandy) Slagoski, Tomahawk and Michael Slagoski, Schofield as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Copanos, and her siblings, Ronald, Jerry, Tony Jr. Slagoski and Joyce Manowski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
