Delores M. Springer

Delores "Sis" Springer 70, 5041 Holstein Lane, Edgar, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born December 10, 1935 in the town of Emmet, daughter of the late Paul and Blanche (Austin) Springer. Delores worked on the family farm all her life. She enjoyed the outdoors, raising and caring for the farm animals, especially pet dogs, Lucky and Rex, her two best friends. The chore of feeding was one that gave Delores great pleasure on the family operated deer farm. Special to her was the time she shared with her family, especially her great nieces and nephews. Survivors include her siblings, Rose (James) Karlen, Marathon, William and Robert Springer, Leonard (Janice) Springer, all of Edgar and Laverne (Jean) Springer, Wausau, two sisters-in-law, Virginia Springer, Marathon and Lorraine Springer, Edgar, along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Delores was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Paul Springer Jr. and four nephews, Kenneth, Richard, LeRoy and George Springer. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
