Debra L. Heiting

Debra L. Heiting, 62, Wausau, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born July 14, 1952 in Marshfield, the daughter of Joanne (Trierweiler) Heiting of Wausau and the late Gerald Heiting. Debra was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and Wisconsin Badgers fan. Over the past six months, she enjoyed swimming at North Central Health Care Facility where she made many good friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren. Debra was very supportive of Kylie's art work and she enjoyed watching Donovan's sporting events. She was very proud of her grandchildren and all their accomplishments. Survivors include, her daughter, Tracy Heiting, Wausau; two grandchildren, Kylie and Donovan Leverette; her mother, Joanne Heiting, Wausau; three sisters, Sandy and Lori Heiting, both of Wausau and Julie (Gerald) Constable, Ohio; five brothers, Steve (Susan) Heiting, Georgia, Mark Heiting, Wausau, John (Wendy) Heiting, Wausau, Jeff (Cindy) Heiting, Wausau and Tim Heiting, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. The memorial mass will be celebrated at Noon on Friday, May 15, 2015 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Alan Burkhardt will preside. Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
