Debbie A. Kersten

Debbie A. Kersten 60, Schofield, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her daughter's home, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. She was born January 5, 1953 in Evanston, Ill., daughter of the late Joseph and Joan (Gregory) Rucinski. On January 13, 1989, she married William Bombagi in Wausau. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1989. Debbie was a secretary for Wierzba Insulation and worked for Nanik Company until its closure. For several years, she bowled in the Wausau area for various leagues. Most of all, Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include, three daughters, Kelly Siegel, Schofield, Carie (Dwaine) Compton, Appleton and Angela Siegel, Schofield; three grandchildren, Brandon and Shawn Brendt and Ethan Compton; five siblings, Bonnie (Ron) Bruski, Hudson, Fla., Linda (Dennis) Wierzba, Schofield, Randy (Tracy) Rucinski, Rothschild, Bob (Carol) Rucinski, Rosholt and Ronnie Rucinski, Schofield; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
