Deanna L. Scantlin

Deanna L. Scantlin 34, 608 Prospect Ave., Wausau, died Sunday July 14, 2002. She was born March 14, 1968 in Rockford, Illinois, daughter of Werner and Holly (Tindell) Zuleger, Marathon. Deanna was employed in Marketing with Wal-Mart, Merrill since the store opened several years ago. Among her favorite things to do were camping, shopping with her mother and special to her was the time spent with her family. Survivors besides her parents, Werner and Holly Zuleger, Marathon, include three children, Tyson Scantlin and Larissa Scantlin, Merrill, Allyson Durkee, Wausau, fiance' Michael Durkee, Wausau, four brothers, Kris (Cindy) Zuleger, Timothy (Edee) Zuleger, Charles (Beth) Altfillisch, all of Marathon, John (Rhonda) Altfillisch, Athens, one sister, Sandra (Ivan) Thurs, Marathon, paternal grandmother, Esther Zuleger, Medford, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Alfred Zuleger and her maternal grandparents, Clifford and Catherine (Wiezorek) Tindell. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday December 16, 2002 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Little Chicago. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
