Dean S. Meurett

Dean S. Meurett, 53, Weston died Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He was born June 12, 1960 in Wausau son of LaVerne "Curley" Meurett, Merrill and the late Mavis (Brandenburg) Meurett. On September 1, 1984 he married Connie Kieckhaefer in Wausau. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2012. Dean was the owner/operator of Meurett Painting in Wausau for more than 25 years. Prior to his painting career he worked a short time at Mid West Airlines at the Central Wisconsin Airport, Mosinee. Some of Dean's favorite pastimes included golfing, fishing and traveling. Dean also loved spending time at his cottage on Crescent Lake with his fiance Deneen Collatz. Survivors include his two children, Molly Meurett and Jacob (Samantha) Meurett, his fiancAC., Deneen Collatz, Weston, his father, LaVerne "Curley" (Barbara Bakke) Meurett, Merrill, two siblings, Laurie Meurett, Minneapolis and Dan (Lori) Meurett, Stevens Point and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. The Rev. Craig Swenson will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Dean's name.
