Dawn M. Hardell

Dawn M. Hardell, 63, Wausau, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born February 16, 1953 in Wausau, daughter of the late Leonard and Marian (Nienow) Czaplinski. On May 28, 1989, she married LaVern "Vern" Hardell in Wausau. He survives. Dawn was presently employed as an accountant and bookkeeper at Krause Howard and Company in Wausau, and has worked there since she was 18 years old. She loved her dogs and also enjoyed flower gardening. Survivors include, her husband, Vern Hardell, Wausau; one son, Christopher (Tara) O'Neil, Milwaukee; three brothers, Robert (Julie) Czaplinski, Tomahawk, Scott (Jill) Czaplinski, Wausau and Tim (Charyl Hoover) Czaplinski, Tomahawk; one brother-in-law, Ronald Hardell, Wausau; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Hardell and Phyllis Peterson, both of Wausau; three nephews, Scottie, Nicholas and Samuel Czaplinski; and one niece, Lisa Peterson. Memorial services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate.
