Dawn M. Copanos

Dawn M. Copanos 55, Wausau, died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born August 29, 1955 in Wausau, the daughter of Deloris (Slagoski) Brown and the late Clarence I. Brown. Dawn worked as a nursing assistant for many nursing homes throughout her life and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Montgomery Plant Unit No. 10, Wausau. Her love in life was her dogs. Survivors include, her mother, Deloris Brown, Wausau; two sisters, Bonnie (Dale) Rupnick, Wisconsin Rapids and Christine (Ron) Roloff, Wausau; and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Nancy Russell will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
