David L. Zoromski

May 26, 1945 — December 8, 2006

David L. Zoromski 61, Ringle, died peacefully Friday December 8, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born May 26, 1945, in Wausau, son of August Zoromski, Hatley and the late Ann (Budleski) Zoromski. On January 9, 1971, he was united in marriage to Jessica Babl at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. She survives. Family was the cornerstone of Dave's life. He took particular pride in his son's accomplishments including Clint's High School Wrestling and military involvement, Brian's football and Chuck's participation in theater. Faith in his God and dedication to his church were very important to Dave. At St. Florian Catholic Church, Dave was a member of the Holy Name Society and he served for many years on the Parish Council and was also involved as Chairman of the Annual parish picnic. He was the current "Poland's Finest" Team President and the holder of the Theodore Fierick Memorial Trophy. Dave was a past member of the Hatley Area Lions Club and currently served as a major agitator of the Hatley Area Morning Card Club. Anyone who had the experience of crossing paths with Dave, know that he possessed an unforgettable passion which left it's mark on everyone. Humor, optimism and a fair share of good natured teasing, were his trademarks. He began to hone these skills at Drott/JI Case, where he was employed for 17 years, moving through several sales positions before his unstoppable entrepreneurial spirit led him to develop his own unique niche business, Star Spangled Novelties, which he currently owned and operated. Among his favorite ways to unwind were fishing trips to Canada, LasVegas trips with Jessie or simply enjoying "pacorn" with Devin in his Lone Ranger PJ's. Surviving David are his wife, Jessie, sons, Clint Zoromski, Tomahawk, Brian (Becky) Zoromski, Rothschild, Charles Zoromski, Stevens Point, two granddaughters, Devin Lee and Tristan Mae, his father and step-mother, August & Angie Zoromski, Hatley, two brothers, Leon (Dianne) Zoromski, Hatley and Greg (Tracy) Zoromski, Wausau, nieces, a nephew, cousins, other relatives and many good friends. Waiting to greet David at Heaven's Gate are his mother, Ann and brother, Randy. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 11, 2006 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Rev. Thomas Abraham will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Sixth Street funeral home. Special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rezazadeh, Dr. Binder, Dr. Hartke, Dr. Hoffman, a big hug to the nurses, CNA's and "Cancer Chicks" for the loving care given to Dave. Please know that Dave and I will always see you as a blessing in our lives. Love, Jessie. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com
