David H. Windorski

David H. Windorski, 79, Wausau, died Saturday October 11, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born August 28, 1935, in Wausau, son of the late John and Susan (Bednarski) Windorski. On June 28, 1980, he married Janet Sporisky in Wausau. She survives. Prior to his retirement, David had been employed at Crestline and Connor Forest Products. He was currently working at the Neighbor's Place. David had also served in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Janet Windorski, Wausau, two brothers, Philip Windorski, Schofield, Ray (Rose) Windorski, Lancaster, Calif., three sisters, Emma Brzezinski, Wausau, Sadie Gruna, Galloway and Dorothy Nowitzke, Wausau, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Ted, Ben, Daniel, Hubert and Clarence Windorski and two sisters, Wanda Davidowski and Florence Cherek. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 16, 2014 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will officiate.
