David R. Sodke

David Ronald Sodke, 73, Las Vegas, Nev., died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas. He was born February 27, 1942 in Rib Falls, Wis., son of the late Fred and Clara (Jansen) Sodke. David served in the United States Army in Germany. He was a graduate of Marathon High School. For many years, David was employed at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. Survivors include his daughter, Reanee (Scott) Luetschwager, Kronenwetter; two sons, Scott (Melody) Sodke, Wausau and Jerry (Debbie) Johnson of Bemidji, MN; his sister, Joan Rheinschmidt, Mosinee; his grandchildren, Justin, Leena, Sam, Kailey, Callie, Tessa, Lydia and Serena; and his nephew, Jon. A private family service will be held at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Marathon. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon is in charge of arrangements.
