David "Cowboy" Moll

David "Cowboy" K. Moll, 68, Wausau, died Monday, June 22, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital due to cardiac arrest. He was born August 8, 1946 in Wausau, son of the late Fred and Emma (Gill) Moll. On April 18, 1970 he married Doreen Rhyner at St. John Lutheran Church, Dancy. She survives. David worked at Weston and Wausau Homes and later as a cement tender at A&M Masonry retiring from Dale Schultz Masonry. He loved hunting and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. David was always around to lend a helping hand especially to his neighbors, snow blowing their driveways in winter and mowing their lawns in the summer. His generosity and kindness will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include his wife, Doreen Moll; daughters, Lisa (Craig) Curtis and Stacy (Patrick) Pukall; grandchildren, Cole Fust, Ethan Curtis, Kimberly Moll, Nathaniel Gardner and Haley Pukall; brother, Paul Moll, Marshfield; mother-in-law, Emogene Rhyner; sisters-in-law, Julie (Pat) Esker, Owen-Withee, Laura (Robert) Robinson, Three Lakes and Bonnie Ray, Schofield; brothers-in-law, Larry (Sandy) Rhyner, Randy (Diane) Rhyner and Daniel (Angel) Rhyner, all of Wausau; many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, LeRoy Rhyner and a brother-in-law, Nick Ray. Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Aspirus Wausau Hospital's Cardiac ICU for their compassionate care of David during his time there.
