David K. "Mogan" Lang
62, 118 County Road A, Marathon, died Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born January 23, 1943 in Wausau, son of the late William and Dorothy (Lepak) Lang.
David worked at Musson Construction Company in Rhinelander for many years. Among his favorite things to do were hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods, but David enjoyed tending his very large vegetable garden with the help of Ralph Furger and gave away the fruits of his labor to anyone who wanted them. Most of his Sunday's revolved around NASCAR races either watching them on TV or listening to them on the radio.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Herbert (Shirley) Lang, Wayne (Janice) Lang, Laverne (Sandy) Lang, all of Marathon, Sylvia Payne, Merrill, Vivian (Howard) Jeske, Marathon, Pat Nowack, Wausau and Jeanne (Dale) Sauter, Edgar. David is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Gary Lang.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
Throughout his failing health and without any complaints, David always found time to visit Mushy's Garage in Marathon, bringing a Nesco full of good smelling grub to share with all his closest friends, especially those he considered his brothers, Dave Marzynski, Mushy Myska, Sammy Kruesel and the Schreier Boys. Thank you for being there for Dave and God Bless You All.
