David L. Kaminski, 75, Mosinee passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born March 7, 1951 in Wausau, son of the late Wallace and Genevieve (Koback) Kaminski. On November 24, 1979 he married Carol Weinke at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. She survives.
For 37 years Dave was a carpenter at Wausau Homes in Kronenwetter. Dave liked to do wood working, he liked to do puzzles, and enjoyed admiring classic cars. Dave loved to spend time with family and friends. He loved helping organize family reunions and deciding what he would make for raffles. He also liked to play dominoes and play cards. He enjoyed volunteering at the Polish Fest in the Popcorn and Ice Cream stand each year, and at many other church functions. He was a big fan of Elvis and loved to collect memorabilia and attend Elvis impersonator shows.
Survivors include his wife Carol Kaminski, Mosinee, his children, Stanley Phillips Jr., Menominee and Bonnie (Matthew) Cortright, Wausau, two grandchildren, Jackson and Kade Phillips and his siblings, Gene Kaminski, Rothschild and Donnie Kaminski, Wausau and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Barney (Karen) Kaminski, Caroline Kaminski, Virginia (Jimmy) Waters, Barbara Salyers, Marlene (Lenny) Kell, Dennis(Dottie) Kaminski, Susie (Jerry) Fischer and sister-in-law Ramona Kaminski.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at Our Savior National Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Marion Talaga will preside. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 28, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
