David E. Johnson, 51, 7688 Pike Lake Road, Hatley, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
David was born June 7, 1951 in Wausau, son of Russell and Florence (Schreiber) Johnson. He was proud to have served his country for six years in the Wisconsin National Guard.
David was self-employed. He enjoyed doing auto body work, hunting, fishing and numerous outdoor recreational activities.
Besides his parents, Russell and Florence Johnson, Wausau, survivors include one son, Jeremiah (Amy) Johnson, Hatley; three sisters, Pamela (Steve) Misoni, Mosinee, Carol (Ken) Bauer, Wausau, Jan (Marv) Lemmer, Marathon; one brother, Dale (Cindy) Johnson, Wausau and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Chad David Johnson.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2003 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. The Rev. Thomas Abraham will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 -7 p.m. all at the church.
