David Howard Glascock

David H. Glascock, 42, Wausau WI, passed away unexpectadly Wednesday, November 10, 2010 due to heart complications at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI. David was preceded in death by his father, Howard Lynn Glascock in February of 1990, and is survived by his mother, Martha, his two sons, Zachary and Benjamin, both of Wausau, his two sisters Deborah (Robert) Schult, Merrill and Rebecca (Stan) Nely, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, his niece Terrah (Ross) Robl, his great niece and nephew Elizabeth and Ryland Robl, and his loving home family of Tammy, Cayli, and Levi Ballenger, Weston. He was born in Mattoon IL in 1968, and grew up in Owensville MO, Brookfield MO, and Poplar Bluff, MO. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1986. He moved in 1989 and made Wausau WI his home with most of his immediate family. After establishing himself, he had a son, Benjamin, and adopted another, Zachary. People that knew David would tell you that he was a superb father, brother, and son. He made many friends around the area through work and other activities. A lot of these friends came while working as a Master Electrician for Van Ert Electric. His friends say he could light up a room simply with his presence, and people loved every second they had with him. He was never afraid to tell you to buy American made products among other things simply because he loved everyone with his whole heart, and wanted us to all have as good a life as possible. He worked hard every day to supply for his loved family and children. He was the supplier and supporter of all the aspirations his children desired and he hoped to make real. Golfing, fishing, baseball, and riding his motorcycle were only a few of his hobbies that he loved to share with his family and friends. He was truly a great father, brother, son and friend. Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. The Rev. Raymond Connor will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
