David L. Engman

David L. Engman 58, Wausau, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield. He was born January 14, 1947 in Wausau, son of Arletta (Erdman) Engman, Wausau and the late Edwin Engman. On October 16, 1965, he married Carol Hebert at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. She survives. Dave was a machine operator for Graphic Packaging Corporation, Wausau for many years. Besides hunting, fishing, camping and golfing, he enjoyed listening to country and polka music. Along with his wife, he enjoyed sight seeing throughout the US, attending local car races and watching NASCAR. Dave was a member of WCAR for 25 years. He had a unique ability to strike up a conversation and was willing to share his stories with anyone he met. Dave will be deeply missed by his family and his cats, Thumper & Tigger. Besides his wife, Carol, and mother, Arletta, survivors include one daughter, Kari (Greg) Thomae, Wausau; one son, Troy Engman, Wausau; six grandchildren: Kayla, Tyler, Dakota, Brittany, Breanna & Bradley; one great grandson, Cameron. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Engman. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday, all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
