David M. Courchaine

David Michael Courchaine 21, Marathon, died Thursday, October 16, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident in Manitowoc County. David was a 2001 graduate of Marathon High School. He was active in basketball, football, track, and choir. He was employed at Hereford & Hops, Wausau. Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Donna Courchaine, Marathon; two sisters, Stacy Courchaine, Baltimore, and Jessica Courchaine, Marathon; one brother, Jeremy (Kristin Woest) Courchaine, Chicago; maternal grandmother Helen Berens, Wausau; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and again from 10:30 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church. David had a gentle soul and a tender heart. People were drawn to him because of his caring personality, his honesty and sincerity, and his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to dance, sing, and be with friends and family. He will be forever missed and always loved. Peace, Dave.
