Daryl Ray Peterson

Daryl R. Peterson, 52, Wausau, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 28, 2012 at his cottage in Boulder Junction. He was born May 20, 1960 in La Crosse, son of Edith (Erlandson) Peterson and the late Stanley Peterson Jr. On May 21, 1988 he married Susan Sherman in Port Edwards. She survives. Daryl worked as a civil engineer, most recently for Becher-Hoppe Associates. He served his country in the United States Army. Daryl enjoyed woodworking, cooking, putting together models, hunting and snowmobiling. Survivors include his wife, Susan, Wausau; daughters, Katherine and Abigail, both of Wausau; mother, Edith Peterson, Chaseburg; brother, Gregory (Lisa) Peterson, Chaseburg; father-in-law, Wayne Sherman, Wisconsin Rapids; brothers-in-law, Mark (Karen) Sherman, Waunakee, Michael (Jennifer) Sherman, Ottawa Hills, Ohio and Scott (Carol) Sherman, Oconomowoc; many nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
