Daniel H. Weber Jr

Daniel H. Weber Jr. 84, H11225 Meadow Road, Wausau died Friday, July 10, 2009 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born December 18, 1924 in Wausau, son of the late Daniel and Hertha (Meilahn) Weber Sr. On September 29, 1951 he married Joyce Yolitz at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau. She preceded him in death on February 22, 1982. Daniel was a dairy farmer in the town of Hewitt for all his life. Some of his favorite pastimes included playing cards, attending polka dances, working out in the woods and being active at Calvary Lutheran Church but most of all he loved being in the country. Survivors include his two sons, Roger Weber and Phillip Weber, both of Wausau, one granddaughter, Brittney Weber, Wausau, four sisters, Florence Vlasic, Hillside, Illinois, Irene (Gerald) Worden, Wausau, Jane Kluever, Rib Mountain and Joyce (Joe) Kastner, Oklahoma and his special friend, Arline Soronsen, Rothschild. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Calvary Lutheran Church, N365 Cain Creek Road, Merrill. The Rev. Mary Zupansic will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
