Daniel E. Walsh

Daniel E. Walsh, 75, Weston died Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born January 1, 1942 in Chicago, son of the late Donald E. and Veronica (Martin) Walsh. On January 18, 1964 he married Stephanie Galloy in Hazelcrest, Illinois. She preceded him in death on April 26, 2006. Dan worked in the Water Department for the City of Wausau for many years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and attending his grandchildren's many activities. Dan will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his children, Timothy (Becky) Walsh, Weston, Tracy (Dan) Wilson, Grayslake, Illinois, Mike (Jody) Walsh, Stevens Point and Tricia (Dan) Smith, Chicago, 8 grandchildren and two siblings, David (Joanne) Walsh, Hometown, Illinois and Kathleen (Ronald) Johnson, Frankfort, Illinois. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one sister, Sr. Mary Alice Walsh. Visitation for Daniel will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau.
