Daniel "Dan" J. Ollhoff, 51, village of Maine, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
He was born June 10, 1965 in Wausau, son of James and Karen (Peters) Ollhoff.
Dan was a generous, kind hearted man who loved animals and working on the farm making firewood, fence making and milking cows. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved cars especially Ford Mustang's and Ford Truck's and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed reading and was a history buff with a special interest in World War II.
Survivors include his parents, James and Karen Ollhoff; village of Maine; siblings, Mitch (Guyna) Ollhoff, Wausau, Greg (Jackie) Ollhoff, Athens, Diane (Ward) Bennett, Merrill and Scott Ollhoff, village of Maine; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jordan, Luke, Grace, Leigha and Gunner; great nephew, John; great niece, Alannah; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Ollhoff.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Zach Holdorf will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, village of Maine. Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, and again on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
