Dale Hackbarth Weber, Tomahawk, passed away peacefully late on April 28, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital Palliative Care.
He was born November 18, 1936 to the late Richard and Ella Weber and was united in marriage on August 18, 1956 in Pine City, Minnesota to Charlotte K. Rolnicki. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2015.
Dale loved spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and playing cribbage. In his early years he was active in the Elks Lodge where he bowled and coached Elks Junior Bowling. He was a Little League coach, Scout Master and was great at building things. He was a founding member at the "Horses Ass Club" and enjoyed the "Old Farts Club" and was an avid Packers, Brewers and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his children, Denise (Daryl) Doehr, Wyoming, MN, Bruce (Lori) Weber, Wausau, Brian (Angie) Weber, Weston, Brad (Kim) Weber, Tomahawk, Michelle (Bob) Schirmer, Weston, Barbie (Mike) Thomas, Aniwa, Tim (Laura) Weber, Tomahawk; son-in-law, Dale (Lynn) Louze, Mosinee; grandchildren, Shannon (Butchie) Schramm, Beth Bigalow, Charlie (Emily) Doehr, Joe Doehr, Amber Weber, Erica Weber, Ben Weber, Brittany (Alex) Repic, Bradley Weber, Shelby Schirmer, Karsyn Schirmer, Angie (Shane) Schlueter, Dave Thomas, Blake (Meagan) Weber, Morgan Weber; great-grandchildren, Logan and Layla Bigalow, Mason Weber, Xander Repic, Logan Schlueter and Connor Thomas. He is also survived by his sister, Irene Hossong and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides Charlotte and his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Louze, his in-laws, Walter and Ella Rolnicki, a sister, Evelyn Storm, brother, Melvin Weber and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Dale's life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Erik Olson will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
