Dale D. Rose

Dale D. Rose 75, Weston, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at home alongside his family. He was born June 14, 1932 in Wausau, son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Gerrow) Rose. On May 7, 1955 he married Patricia Burns at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. She survives. Dale worked as a printer at Wilson Hurd Manufacturing until he became disabled in 1974. He enjoyed woodworking and sitting in his yard. His faith was very important to him and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors in addition to his wife, Patricia, include his sons, John (Teresa) and Jim (Lisa) Rose; daughters, Lori (Jason) Plaza, Mary (Jody) White and Jean (Fred) Blado; grandchildren, Travis (Meghann) White, Tyler and Tim White, Jennifer and Christopher Plaza, Angel and Andrew Rose, Wesley, Michael and Leanna Rose, Jehnica (Eric) Berger and Joey Rose, Dillan Boehm; step-grandchildren, Carley and Scott Blado, Brooke Denman and Adrian and Ron Seitz; longtime friend, Norbie Burish. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carrol Rose and Douglas Rose. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at St. Therese Catholic Church. Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call Sunday from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau amd again on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
