Dale could be found on many area courses but he rarely missed an opportunity to share his knowledge of the sport with his friends at Goal Line, which he usually visited on a regular basis.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Burnett, Rothschild, his children, Marilyn (Bob) Worden, Mosinee, Dale (Cathy) Burnett Jr., Rothschild, Ron (Sherry) Burnett, Weston and Jeff (Micki) Burnett, Wausau, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew him, most especially his special friend and golf buddy, Chuck (Joanne) Killian.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Burnett and his siblings, Eugene, Roger, Phyllis, Doris and James.
