Cyril R. Meseberg
85, 211 Brooklyn Avenue, Edgar, died Tuesday January 4, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born January 15, 1919 in Granton, son of the late William and Rose (Schroeder) Meseberg. On May 2, 1942, Cyril married Dorothy Schultz in Edgar. She survives.
He was a member of the Catholic Order of Forestors and was an usher at St. John's Catholic Church. In 1980, he retired from the Marathon County Parks Department. Among his many interests, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching, golfing, bowling and card playing.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, Edgar; three children, Janice (Louis) Kwiatkowski, McFarland, James (Susanne) Meseberg, Wausau and Deborah Weber, Wisconsin Rapids; four grandchildren, Christopher Weber, Wisconsin Rapids, Jason Kwiatkowski, Madison, Stacie Dettweiler, Belleville andNicole Weber, Wisconsin Rapids; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Austin and Eli; and one brother, Muriel (Theresa), Wausau.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aimee Rae Kwiatkowski; his great grandson, Dustin; three sisters and five brothers.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2005 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
