Corporal Scott A. Stasney

Cpl. Scott A. Stasney 21, Wausau, died Sunday November 23, 2003 in Fallbrook, California. He was born February 15, 1982 in Wausau, son of David and Michelle (Larson) Stasney, Wausau. A graduate of Wausau East High School in 2000, Scott enjoyed music, snowboarding, rollerblading and biking. After high school, Scott joined the Marine Corps and served his country in Iraq. He was a dedicated soldier who loved his country and was proud to defend the American values of freedom. Survivors include his parents, David and Michelle Stasney, Wausau, a brother, Allen D. Stasney, Wausau, grandparents, Patricia Larson, North Carolina and Fred Larson, Wausau. Scott is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Edward and Eleanor Stasney. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday November 30, 2003 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
