Corby L. Erickson

Corby Lynn Erickson, age 69, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Rennes Health and Rehab, Weston, and was also under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She had been battling brain cancer for the past three years.

She was born on January 5, 1957, and was the only child to the late Merlin and Verna (Dahlke) Radant. Growing up on their family farm in the town of Stettin, Corby was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Stettin. Corby graduated from Wausau West High School in 1975, and later married Mike Erickson on May 17, 1980.

Corby worked at Fleet Farm until retiring and then did part time work at Bautch Chiropractic. Besides gardening, Corby had a love of crafting such as sewing, ceramics, quilting, and decorating. She loved being involved with her daughter in 4-H. Corby was a cat person and after building their first home she picked out her first “not a barn cat.” As a true country girl, she always enjoyed country music.

Survivors include her husband, Michael; daughter, Jamie (Spencer) Hupf; and granddaughter, Murphy.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (Town of Stettin), 232280 120th Avenue, Wausau, with Rev. William Ostrem officiating. Private family burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau, in February. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
