Clifford E. Sodke

Clifford E. Sodke, 86, Wausau, formerly of Athens, died Saturday March 5, 2022, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born February 26, 1936, in Rib Falls, son of the late Richard and Bertha (Punke) Sodke.  Prior to his retirement, Clifford had been a dairy farmer.

Survivors include his siblings, Rheinhardt (Sandy) Sodke, Wausau and Doris Erdman, Rib Mountain and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Richard (Olga), Lawrence, Clarence, Reuben (Pat), Bertram, Delmar, Gordon (Sylvia), one sister, Lorraine (Aloysius) Schara and two nephews, Steven Erdman and Phillip Sodke.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar.  Rev. Gail Sowell will officiate.  Burial will be in the Edgar Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Edgar funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
