Clemen Shelbrack Jr.,88, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield.
He was born June 26, 1937, in Menasha, son of the late Clemen and Clara (Ostrowski) Shelbrack. On October 24, 1959, he married Gloria Radtke at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau.
Clemen worked as a carpenter, dedicating his skill and craftsmanship to building and creating with his hands. He served his country in the United States Army. Clemen loved tinkering with cars and nothing made him happier than cruising down the road on his Harley-Davidson.
He enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and making memories along the way. He also liked trips to the casino, where he could relax, have a little fun, and enjoy the excitement of the games.
Above all, Clemen simply loved living life to the fullest, working hard, riding free, and savoring every moment.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Shelbrack; children, Laurie (Cyril) Kloos, James (Deann) Shelbrack, Mark Shelbrack and Lynda (Jim) Kroening; grandchildren, Alicia Cervenka, Janessa (Steven) Cronin, Jayda Shelbrack, Alexa Shelbrack; step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Laurie) Kloos, Bryan Kloos and Ashley Morga; great-grandchildren, Emilee and Abigail Cronin; siblings, Clarence Shelbrack, Richard Shelbrack, Jayne Steiner and Bonnie (Jim) Crochiere; close friend, Fritz Blaskowski; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Shelbrack, sister, Carol Toftum and brother, Jack Shelbrack.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Entombment will be in Garden of Eternal Rest, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until the time of service all at St. Michael Catholic Church.
