Clayton Frederick Radtke

Clayton Frederick Radtke, 93, Schofield, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
He was born May 9, 1919 in Stratford, son of the late Otto and Meta (Lillge) Radtke. On October 5, 1946 he married Roselyn Smith in Wausau. She survives.
Clayton attended and graduated from Tomahawk High School. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in New Guinea. Over the years Clayton worked for several companies including the Wausau Brewing Company, Foreway Express, Brandt Distributing Company and CTL. Buying cars was one of his enjoyments along with fishing, listening to big band music and beer.
Surviving are his wife, Roselyn; sons, Jim (Peg) Radtke, Wittenberg, and Ken (Judy) Radtke, Green Bay; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Margery (Phillip) Holmes and other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Laverne Radtke.
A private service will be held for the family. The Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate.
