Claudene B. Fisher

Claudene B. Fisher 50, 908 River St., Schofield, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born June 30, 1953 in Wausau, daughter of Gilbert and Goldie (Laabs) Passow, Lake Tomahawk. On September 30, 1972, she married Francis Fisher at St Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. He survives. Claudene worked at Wal-Mart as a receiving clerk. Besides enjoying outdoor activities and going to Crystal Lake, Claudene took great pride in being a homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and delivering the City Pages and Buyers Guide. Claudene was the proud owner of her own business, Claudene's Creations, which marketed many things made out of fleece. She will be deeply missed by her family and the many people she helped. Besides her husband, Francis, Schofield and parents, Gilbert & Goldie Passow, Lake Tomahawk, she is survived by her children, James Fisher, Wausau and his children, Treyven and Sarabeth; Justin (Jamie Smith) Fisher, Mosinee; mother-in-law, Lucille Fisher, Rothschild. She was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Passow. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. Rev. William Bossert will officiate. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and again from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
