Clarence L. Windorski

September 26, 1925 — March 10, 2005

Clarence L. Windorski 79, Wausau, died Thursday, March 10, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born September 26, 1925 in Polonia, son of the late John and Susan (Bednarski) Windorski. Recently Clarence celebrated their 50th anniversity to his lovely bride Shirley Utecht at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. She survives. Clarence worked for Connor Forest Inc. prior to his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching NASCAR races, especially his favorite, Bill Elliot. Besides his wife, Shirley Windorski, Wausau, survivors include four daughters, Pat (George) Desnoyer, Schofield, Karen (Kurt) Klein, Appleton, Sue (Wayne) Pakonen, Merrill and Gerri (Mark) Gore, Marathon; five sons, Mike and Gary (Teri) Windorski all of Wausau, Joe (Char) Windorski, Mosinee, John (FiancAC.e: Rachelle) Windorski, Mosinee and Bob (Jill) Windorski, Rothschild; 15 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five sisters, Sadie (Leonard) Gruna, Galloway, Wanda Davidowski and Florence Cherek both of Milwaukee, Emma Brzezinski and Dorothy Nowitzke both of Wausau. four brothers, Philip (Florence) Windorski, Schofield, Ray (Rose) Windorski, Calif., Hubert (Margaret) Windorski and David (Janet) Windorski, all of Wausau. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Leo, Ted, Daniel and Ben Windorski. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Clarence memory The family would like to give a special thanks and special care given to Clarence by Dr. Clark, the staff on the 100 wing at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau and Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
