Clara I. Sieckert

Clara I. Sieckert 92, Wausau, died Sunday, August 4, 2002 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Antigo. Clara was born December 24, 1909 in Rudolph, daughter of the late Jean and Clara (Purvis) Jackson. On November 17, 1934, she married Herbert Sieckert in San Pedro, California. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2001. Clara was a homemaker. She was very active in First Presbyterian Church, Wausau. Among her favorite things to do were gardening, crocheting and solving crossword puzzles. Survivors include two sons, James (Elaine) Sieckert, Antigo and Eben Sieckert, Fernley, Nevada; three grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one brother, Eben (Marge) Jackson, Wausau. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary, Rachel and Janet. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1320 6th St., Wausau. Rev. Tom Berry will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the 6th St. funeral home.
