Clara Schultz

Clara Schultz 97, 1821 N. 4th Avenue, Wausau, died Sunday August 5, 2001 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. She was born July 17, 1904 in Ashland. In 1922 she married Leonard Schultz in Marshfield. He preceded her in death. Clara and her husband owned and operated Red's Bar in Schofield for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Betty (David) Rau, Columbus, Ohio, Jean (Hugh) Watson, El Paso, Texas, four grandchildren, Frank (Jackie) Rau, Pine Island, Minnesota, Nancy (Brian) Denton, Kirkersville, Ohio, Robin (Steven) Zeid, Dublin, Ohio and Barbara (Don) Matzdorf, Schofield, and 9 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie 'Mickey' Kordus. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Thursday August 9, 2001 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
