Christine E. Pilath

Christine E. Pilath, 61, Wausau, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born August 25, 1954 in St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of the late Marion and Elaine (Hoffman) Mendrzycki. For many years, Christine worked as a machinist at the former Federal Mogul in Schofield. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed listening to music, reading and loved horses. Survivors include one daughter, Cathy (Mike) Kressel, Weston; one granddaughter, Annalise Kressel; two brothers, Michael (Jamie) Mendrzycki, Wisconsin Rapids and Dennis (Diane) Mendrzycki, Janesville; three sisters, Rita Mendrzycki, Wausau, Ruth (Rick) Westberg, Hamburg and Carol Mendrzycki, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews further survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Marielle Kressel. A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
