Christine A. Heil

Christine A. Heil, 52, Wausau, died Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital after a battle with cancer. She was born December 15, 1950, in Wausau, daughter of Brydine E. (Spear) Tessmer and the late Orville H. Tessmer. On June 11, 1983 she married Timothy Heil. He survives. Chris was employed by Hammerblow Corporation, a division of Cequent Trailer Products, until she was unable to work. She was a graduate of Wausau High School, Class of 1969 and NTC in 1979 with an Associate's Degree in accounting. She continued her studies as Human Resources/Safety Director at the Wausau plant of Cequent. Orville died April 1995 and waits in heaven with Chris for the rest of his family. Brydine survives to give comfort to the family in this world. Survivors, besides her husband Tim, include her children, Gregory (Trisha) Schwartz, Wausau and their children, Kaylin, Cory and Tyler; Sheila (Everett) Heslip, Wausau and their children, Joe, Jim and Molly; Darrel (Sarah) Schwartz, Wausau and their son, Manuel; step-children, Josh (Patti) Heil, Oshkosh and their daughters, Sabrina and Mikala; Ashley (Crystal Engerson) Heil, Aniwa and her children, Anthony and Ivy; Aaron (Jolobi Kussatz) Heil, Weston and their daughter, Kerra . She is further survived by her siblings, Michael (Lynn) Tessmer, Aniwa, Delores (Jim)Hopland, Garland, Tex., Ellen Tessmer, Wausau, Patricia (Joel Roehrig) Tessmer, Cleveland, Lisa (Jack) Bielke, Wausau, Julie Sell, Coleman and Paul (Tammi) Tessmer, Wausau; her mother and father-in-law, Matthew and Delores Heil; a sister-in-law, Faye (Jim) Fowler, Oconomowoc; and many nieces and nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her father, husband Joe Yuske on November 28, 1981, an infant child in 1974, one sister, Mary Sargent, and one brother, Robert Tessmer. Chris' greatest joy was watching her grandchildren growing up. She will be waiting for her spouse, children, grandchildren and siblings to share God's Glory and Peace with them. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Mechanics Ridge Cemetery, town of Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Memorials may be directed to Our Savior's School building fund.
