Cheryl A. Baumann

Cheryl A. Baumann 46, Merrill, died Monday July 24, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 28, 1959 in Wausau, daughter of Charles "Doug" Asmundsen, Wausau and the late Darlene Ann (Nienow) Asmundsen. On June 2, 1979, she married Gordon Baumann in Wausau. He survives. Cheryl was a homemaker and took great pride in raising her children, and enjoyed all children. She was an avid Packers fan, and among her favorite things to do was vacationing with her family up north, playing cards, four wheeling, snowmobiling, doing craftwork and visiting with family and friends. Survivors besides her husband and father include, her children, Nicholas, Jessica, Amanda and Amber Baumann, her siblings, James Asmundsen, Brokaw, Catherine (Vern) Block, Ringle, Richard Asmundsen and Michael (Catherine) Asmundsen, all of Brokaw, Kenneth (Linda) Asmundsen, Merrill, Angela Asmundsen, Wausau, one grandchild that is on the way, Jadden; mother-and father-in-law, Wilbur and Marilyn Baumann, Merrill, brothers and sisters-in-law, Sherry (Duane) Tietz, Mosinee, Randall Baumann, Merrill, Cynthia Baumann, Scott Baumann and Sheldon (Tina) Baumann, all of Wausau, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday July 28, 2006 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John Meachen will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
