Charlotte Katherine Weber, Tomahawk, passed away peacefully March 2, 2015 at Seasons of Life Hospice, Woodruff after a brief battle with cancer. She was born February 25, 1938 to the late Walter and Ella Rolnicki and was united in marriage on August 18, 1956 in Pine City, Minnesota to Dale H. Weber.
Charlotte's favorite things in life were spending time with her family and friends. She made new friends everywhere she went. Charlotte had many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, ceramics, cooking, fishing and camping in her younger days. She loved riding in her golf cart and being a member of the "Old Farts Club". She was always the life of the party and was active in organizing fundraisers for Lupus research.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Weber, Tomahawk; Denise (Daryl) Doehr, Wyoming, Minn., Bruce Weber, Wausau, Brian (Angie) Weber, Weston, Brad (Kim) Weber, Tomahawk, Michelle (Bob) Schirmer, Weston, Barbie (Mike) Thomas, Aniwa and Tim (Laura) Weber, Tomahawk; son-in-law, Dale (Lynn) Louze, Mosinee; grandchildren, Shannon (Butchie) Schramm, Beth Bigelow, Charle (Emily) Doehr, Joe Doehr, Amber Weber, Erica Weber, Ben Weber, Brittany Repic, Bradley Weber, Shelby Schirmer, Karsyn Schirmer, Angie (Shane) Schlueter, David Thomas, Blake (Meagan) Weber, Morgan Weber; great-grandchildren, Logan and Layla Bigelow, Mason Weber, Xander Repic, Logan Schlueter and Connor Thomas. She is also survived by brothers, Ron and Darryl Rolnicki and many nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by in-laws, Richard and Ella Weber and her oldest daughter, Diane Weber Louze.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Entombment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
The family wishes to express their extreme appreciation to the wonderful ladies at Seasons of Life where she was made to feel like she was the most important person in the world. The atmosphere there is warm and loving and she loved watching the squirrels and deer outside her window.
