Charles “Chuck” Schmollinger, age 72, passed away January 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He was born in Hillsboro, IL on September 9, 1953.

Chuck lived much of his life in Athens, Wisconsin, where he began his working years as a farmer. He took pride in supporting both his school and parish communities, living out his faith by becoming a lay minister.

A faith-filled man in every sense, Chuck’s beliefs guided his life and the way he cared for others. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan, a passion he enjoyed sharing with family. Throughout his life, he bravely fought several illnesses and medical complications, meeting each challenge with quiet strength and perseverance.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and JoAnne Schmollinger, and a brother, Edward.

He is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife, Cathy; his children Ed (Emily) Schmollinger, Anna (Kevin) Koopman, Angela Schmollinger, Anthony Schmollinger, and Andrew (Abigail) Schmollinger; and his grandchildren Penelope, Zac, Ava, Ella, Clara, Isaac, Jeremiah, Samuel, Violet, and Lilliana, who brought him immense joy.
