Charles N. Ehrhardt Sr.
87, 400 River Dr., Wausau, died Friday August 9, 2002 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
He was born July 7, 1915 in Alpha, Illinois, son of the late Charles and Lydia (Johnson) Ehrhardt. On October 6, 1940 he married Doris Witte in Davenport, Iowa. She survives.
He was a member of the George Washington Masonic Lodge, Tripoli Temple and Scottish Rite Valley of Milwaukee, Golden Rule Eastern Star, Kenwood White Shrine and Order of True Kindred.
Survivors besides his wife, Doris (Witte) Ehrhardt, Wausau, include two sons, Charles (Diane) Ehrhardt, Wausau, and their children, James (Jan) Ehrhardt, Wausau, Nicholas Ehrhardt, Columbus, Ohio and Janet (John) Stolp, Medford; John (Sharon) Ehrhardt, Johnson Creek, and their children, Brenda (fiance' Robert Bruffett) Ehrhardt, Muskego and Michael Ehrhardt, Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Sharon (Special friend, Michael Carroll) Horner, Apache Junction, Ariz., and her children, Laura (Bill) Klieman, Bayside and Richard Horner, Waukesha; six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Lois (Ralph) Doering, Silver Spring, Maryland, Mary (Dale) Rousey, Moline, Illinois and one brother, Fred (Donna) Ehrhardt, Moline, Illinois.
Memorial and Masonic Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon Aug. 18, 2002 at the Brown Deer Methodist Church, Brown Deer. Visitation will be on Sat. Aug. 17, 2002 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee.
