Celia Jane Wisneski, 91, 1018 South 17th Avenue, Wausau, died Monday, March 4, 2002 at the Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
Celia was born September 19, 1910 in Ironwood, Michigan daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Klosinski.
Before retiring at the age of 80, Celia worked as a waitress for many years at the Holiday Inn in Wausau. For enjoyment she spent time gardening, fishing and reading, as well as spending time with her cat "Cindy".
She is survived by her son, Willis J. (fiancAC.e, Judy Dietsche) Wisneski, Wausau, sister Lillian (Clarence) Bachmann, Mesa, Arizona, sister-in-law, Theresa Klosinski, Wausau, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2002 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The Rev. John Parr will preside. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cassel. Friends may call Thursday from 9:15 a.m. until the time of services at church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the church.
