Cecilia H. Salzer

Cecilia H. Salzer 94, Weston, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born December 14, 1911 in Wausau, daughter of the late Simon and Mary (Katczke) Lupa. On October 5, 1935, she married Joseph Salzer at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1965. She worked for the former Pied Piper Shoe Company and North Central Health Care, Wausau. Among her many interests, she enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her family and her dog "Peanuts". Survivors include, five children, Laura Lee Rogman, Milwaukee, DuWayne (Judith) Salzer, Wausau, Marie Salzer, Weston, Gerald (Marilynne) Salzer, Little Suamico, Wis. and Sandra (Arllein) James, Rib Mountain; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, James Rogman; and two brothers, John and Alois Lupa. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the Sixth Street Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Hospital.
