Cecilia H. Baranowski

Cecilia H. Baranowski, 88, Wausau, died January 8, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born February 26, 1926 in Callon, daughter of the late Anton and Helen (Putkramer) Jagler. On August 17, 1946 she married Edwin Baranowski who preceded her in death on July 11, 1990. Cecilia enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, and putting together puzzles. She loved playing bingo, gardening, especially flowers and watching the birds and deer. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Blake) Baumann, Weston, Lorri Baranowski, Wausau, Jean Baranowski, Wausau, Marcie Warner, Mosinee, Linda (Christopher) Straub, Wausau, Peggy (Rick) Hemmrich, Marathon, Cindy Baranowski, Garland, Texas and Roxann Baranowski, Wausau; grandchildren, Robin (Jared) Wesenick, Rebecca (Todd) Christiansen, Eric (Angela) Gorski, Molly (Jason) Borski, Michael (Jennifer) Straub, Laura (Mark) Herdt, Matthew (Amanda) Straub, Jeremy Hemmrich, Jessica (Matt) Merce, Terri (Caesar) Gonzales and Robert Schulz; 14 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mary Ann Trzebiatowski; five sisters-in-law, Marge Goytowski, Loretta (Paul) Falkowski, Norma Gray Baranowski, Joyce Bara and Mildred Baranowski; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Edwin, she was preceded in death by a brother Stanley Jagler and a sister, Grace Roble. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
