Catherine Kluender

Catherine Kluender 84, 1320 Grand Avenue, Wausau, died Saturday November 19, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wausau Hospital. She was born September 20, 1921 in Marathon, daughter of the late Albert and Christine (Heil) Muelbeck. On February 22, 1941, she married Reinhold Kluender in Wausau. He preceded her in death April 15, 1961. Prior to her retirement in 1986, Catherine had been employed in food service at North Central Health Care Facilities. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed visiting with her friends. Survivors include her children, Don (Jean) Kluender, Port Edwards, Barbara Kluender, Elk Grove, Calif., Diane (David) Klimisch, Minocqua, Sharon Kluender, Madison, grandchildren, Kevin Kluender, Brian Kluender, Keith Pelton, Kimberly (Fred) Blumhagen, Craig Klimisch, Nicholas Klimisch, a great-granddaughter, Julia Blumhagen, three sisters, Rose Klinger and Christine Lemmer, both of Mosinee and Ann Gooding, Spokane, Wash. Besides her husband, Reinhold, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leo Muelbeck, sisters, Betty Parsch, Marie Beilke, and infant sisters, Rosa and Theresa Muelbeck. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday November 22, 2005 at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 621 N. Second Street, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Comfort Care and Hospice Services, Resurrection Church or the American Cancer Society.
