Catherine ''Rose'' Irick

Catherine "Rose" Irick 49, Wausau, died Monday, March 3, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born February 11, 1954 in Wausau, daughter of the late Douglas and Esther (Heidemann) Irick. Rose was a mother and a dark room assistant for the Irick Studio. Survivors include one son, Abraham Irick, Wausau; four sisters, Theresa (Charles) White, Madison, Celeste Moore, Olympia, Washington, Mary Ann Irick, Mt. Horeb and Julie (Donald) LaBelle, Weston; two brothers, Mark Irick, Wausau and Patrick Irick, Olympia, Washington; step-mother, Lois Irick, Wausau; step-sisters, Renee (Tom) Schroeder, Brokaw. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan Sloviak will preside. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau and again from 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church. There will be a 7:00 p.m. parish vigil Thursday evening at the 6th St. funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Catherine's name.
