Carroll ''Rosie'' Rose

Carroll "Rosie" Rose, 67, 100 Alexander Avenue, Rothschild, died Saturday, April 13, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Carroll was born December 5, 1934 in Wausau, son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Rose. He married Edith Blaher August 25, 1962 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. She survives. Carroll was an estimator for the Marmet Corp. and a part time custodian for St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Yankee's. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m., Thursday, April18, 2002 at the St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m., Thursday, until the time of services all at the church. Besides his wife, Edith, he is survived by one brother, Dale (Pat) Rose, Weston; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Rose. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Ave, Wausau is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Comfort Care and Hospice Services, the St. Mark Catholic Church or the St. Mark Catholic School, both in Rothschild.
