Caroline I. Narloch

CAROLINE I. NARLOCH 100, Wausau, died Weds. January 18, 2012 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. Caroline was born May 8, 1911 in Cassel, daughter of the late John and Mary (Gorski) Koppa. Caroline married Felix Kropidlowski in 1931. He preceded her in death in 1948. In 1970 she married Harry Narloch. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau, and their Rosary Confraternity and a charter member of the Circle of Joy. She was a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters, St. Cecelia Court #357, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Wausau. In 2011 Caroline received a citation for being a 80-year member of the Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include a step-daughter, Clarabelle Pierce, Oshkosh, a step-son, Herbert (Pat) Narloch, Rothschild, numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren as well as many wonderful friends. Caroline was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Beverly LaPorte, two step-sons, Lt. Chester Kropidlowski and Dr. Ben Karr, three sisters, Agnes Jakubowski, Dorothy Michlig, and Margaret Guralski and six brothers, Leo, Ted, Edward, Anton, John, and Alex. The funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday January 20, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. A private burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Michael Church.
