Carol A. Slaminski

Carol A. Slaminski, 82, of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born on January 11, 1943, in Laona, Wisconsin to the late Garnet and Harriet (Samz) Tinsman.  Carol grew up in Newald and later married Robert Slaminski in Wausau at St. Michael Catholic Church.  She worked as a clerk in the records department of Wausau Insurance and also at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Carol enjoyed reading, watching cooking shows on T.V., and cooking for her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of humor, and as a great mom and grandma that loved her family, but also kept her boys in line as a good mom could.  Carol loved spending time with her friends and playing games at their weekly game nights.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; sons, Michael Slaminski (Elke) and Mark (Candace) Slaminski; grandchildren, Makenna and Grayson; and sister-in-law, Vikki Tinsman.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Tinsman.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
