Carol A. Russ

Carol A. Russ 66, Wausau died Sunday, February 14, 2010 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born November 27, 1943 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Max and Mildred (Heater) Susnik. On May 1, 1965 she married Richard Russ at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He survives. Prior to her retirement Carol was employed at Cutler Hammer and Briggs and Stratton, both in Milwaukee and the former Wausau Piston Company and the former Hammerblow Corporation. Survivors include her husband, Richard Russ, one son Allen Russ, both of Wausau and one brother, Gerald (Robin) Susnik, Milwaukee. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Charles Susnik. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
